INNOVATIVE TEACHER GRANTS

Purpose:

It is our mission to enrich teaching and inspire learning in all ways for all students. Grants for Creative & Innovative Learning are designed to encourage, facilitate, recognize and reward innovative and creative instructional approaches to the accomplishment of the program objectives.  

Persons Eligible to Apply for Grants:

Individuals or teams of individuals employed by Royse City ISD who are involved in the instruction of students or related support services benefiting students.If applying for a grant as a team or department , a team leader/grant writer must be identified as the main contact.

Any staff member involved in instruction or related support services benefiting students. 

Eligible Proposals:

Instructional approaches or projects designed to begin during the current school year and which benefit the students as well as meet the selection criteria. Proposals should address Innovative approaches that empower students to use creativity and critical thinking. These proposals should fall under one of the following; District, Campus or Classroom.

• Grants of up to $2,000 will be awarded to approved individual classroom/ teacher-initiated programs or projects. 
• Grants of up to $7,500 will be awarded to approved campus, teams or departments.
• District Projects &  Initiatives up to $25,000 (only a 1 year commitment)
