Executive Director - Mikala Welch
Mikala Welch joins RCISD as our new Executive Director of the Education Foundation. Mikala joins us with a proven track record in education foundation leadership and non-profit strategy, most recently serving in Community ISD for the past five years. During her tenure, she expanded local scholarships, deepened community partnerships, and spearheaded a record-breaking 2026 grant cycle for teachers and classrooms.
Mikala holds a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics and a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Lamar University.
