CLASSROOM TEACHER GRANTS

Purpose:

It is our mission to empower educators and transform learning in all ways for all students. Grants for Creative & Innovative Learning are designed to encourage, facilitate, recognize and reward innovative and creative instructional approaches to the accomplishment of the program objectives.  

Persons Eligible to Apply for Grants:

Individuals or teams of individuals employed by Royse City ISD who are involved in the daily instruction of students or related support services benefiting students. 

Eligible Proposals:

Instructional approaches or projects designed to begin during the current school year and which benefit the students as well as meet the selection criteria. Proposals should address Innovative approaches that empower students to use creativity and critical thinking. These proposals should fall under one of the following; Classroom, Camus or District, Funding Levels:

  • First-Year Teachers: $100 (certified, first year only- via application and HR verification)
  • Mini Grants - $250  (certified classroom teachers only)
  • Individual/Classroom Grants: Up to $1,500
  • Campus/Department /CTE Program of Study Grants: Up to $5,000
  • District Level Projects: Special Approved Projects (one-year commitment only)
  • Funding availability depends on Foundation resources and Finance Committee approval.
