CLASSROOM MINI GRANT PROGRAM

The Education Foundation board would love to help you with additional instructional needs.  We recognize that some of you may need additional programs, curriculum or technology needs specific to your classroom or subject, to enhance the teaching and learning experience.


It is our hope to assist some of you in making that happen. Any classroom teacher may apply for these onetime grants. These grants must be approved by your campus principal and line up with district curriculum and technology guidelines. We will approve these grants monthly and provide your budget codes to submit your requisition. As with all grants these funds may only be used with a school approved vendor.  

These grants may not be used as reimbursement for already purchased items or to upgrade subscriptions. 

The Board has the right to decline any request that does not line up with our mission.          

Open September 1- March 1 PO's must be submitted by May 1.

You will be notified by email when your grant is approved.     

CRITERIA:

  • Must be submitted by the 15th to be awarded in same month. After the 15th will be awarded the next month.
  • Technology, curriculum, and learning enhancements preferred
  • Day to day classroom needs, supplies, student reward/prizes, and room décor not accepted.
  • Subscription fees or account registrations not accepted UNLESS approved by your curriculum coordinator
  • All applications subject to approval and or denial based on Foundation grant criteria and guidelines 
  • All grant items are the property of RCISD and the campus to which they are awarded.
  • Max amount of $250 each - Restricted funds available.
  • You are still eligible to apply for other Foundation grants

*One per classroom/Teacher. PER YEAR
